Is National Online Insurance School a state-certified insurance education provider?

Yes. National Online Insurance School is a state-certified insurance education provider. Our certification ID is listed on each state course page in which we are required to be certified. Although not required by all states, we provide a pre-licensing education that prepares individuals to pass their state licensing exam. In states that require such education, our courses have been reviewed and certified to cover the necessary information as prescribed by the state examination content outline. In states that do not require such education, our courses still provide the same comprehensive preparation materials as if it were required by the state.

Can I complete my coursework at my own pace?

Yes. Our courses are designed to allow you to study at your pace, and take the time you need to feel confident in understanding the course material. We provide a 60 day enrollment period which begins on the day you begin your coursework.

What is required of me to complete my pre-licensing education requirement and receive the required credit hours for this course?

To complete your pre-licensing education credit hour requirement through National Online Insurance School, you must complete all lessons within your course and pass the Course Final Exam at the end of your insurance pre-licensing course with a minimum score of 70%. Upon passing your Course Final Exam, we electronically submit your pre-licensing completion information to the Department or Division of Insurance, as required by the state.

How long does it take to complete my insurance course?

While many students finish their course in just a few days, we provide 60 days to ensure you have enough time to complete the course at your own pace and fully prepare for your state exam. This flexible timeframe is designed to accommodate even those with busy schedules, giving you the freedom to study when it's most convenient for you.

What if I have questions while completing this online insurance course?

Licensed instructors are available seven days a week throughout your entire enrollment with National Online Insurance School to answer your questions. Your course includes an 'Ask an Instructor' feature that allows you to type your question while looking at the course material, and receive a prompt written response from our instructor staff so that you may archive it for further review.

Why is it necessary to provide my Social Security Number during registration?

As a state-certified pre-licensing education provider, some states require us to register you with the department or division of insurance and submit your certificate of course completion. This data is encrypted and isolated from your other personal data, and stored in a separate, HIPAA-compliant database.

Will this course work on my device?

Our courses can be accessed using any browser and on any device, including your PC, tablet, or smartphone, as long as you have an internet connection.

What should I do if I forgot my Username or Password?

To have your username emailed to you, simply click here. Because we encrypt your password for your protection, we do not email it to you. Instead, we email you a temporary password that allows you to log into your course. Once signed in, you can then change your password in your 'Profile' page.

What types of insurance can I sell with a life insurance license?

Insurance agents who hold a life insurance license may sell various types of life insurance (whole, term, burial, credit, etc.), fixed annuities, endowments and more.

What types of insurance can I sell with a health insurance license?

Insurance agents who hold a health insurance license may sell various types of health insurance such as major medical / Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act PPACA (Obamacare), critical illness, disability, long-term care, Medicare supplement and more.
